Alexander Humphreys - Physiotherapist
Alex qualified from Sheffield Hallam University in 2015. He gained valuable experience during his studies working in a variety of settings such as Paediatrics, Acute Stroke, MSK Outpatients and Respiratory.
After qualifying Alex worked at a Professional Rugby club in Frankfurt, Germany, where he gained experience in a sports environment. He is a keen sportsman himself having represented Wales internationally at field hockey and playing his club hockey in the Premier League for a number of years. More recently Alex transitioned to Golf where he has established a single figure handicap.
Alex is fully qualified, both registered with and a member of the Health Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP), Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, and The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE). Being a member of the following professional organisations ensures the he stays up to date with latest research and evidenced based treatments. Alex has further qualifications in both Acupuncture and Office Workstation Ergonomics (DSE).
Helen Leigh – Clinic Manager
Helen is our receptionist, clinic manager and chief organiser. Her role is the day to day running of the clinic, dealing with insurers and helping you, the clients. Her friendly and welcoming manner will have you starting to feel better even before you’ve seen the physio.
Helen lives local, has 3 children and loves holidays! Helen is extremely experienced having worked within the customer service/ receptionist environment for the last 20 years.
Physio Focus Swinton was established in 2019 with the aim of providing excellent physiotherapy services at an affordable price that is catered to each individual client.
Here at Physio Focus Swinton, we pride ourselves on providing you with a professional experience from the moment you book an appointment until your treatment with us is complete. Our physiotherapist will work closely with you to help you understand your symptoms and diagnosis. He will use all of his knowledge and expertise to effectively plan the correct course of treatment, ensuring that you achieve your desired goals.
